A student contacted me recently who is doing a thesis about how psychotherapists use social media and asked if she could interview me. I immediately thought about what a thorny and tricky issue this is for those of us who work with the highest level of confidentiality and want to keep our patients and their material protected. Many of us, like myself, are anxious about how to use social media but have to come to terms with the age in which we live.
