I founded the Possibility Project London in Kings Cross London in 2014 with the intention of responding to London’s diversity and its unique challenges and opportunities. Put simply I feel that psychological therapies should respond to the needs of the patient and the environment in which they are delivered if they are to optimise outcomes. This is not to say that rigour and professionalism should be set aside, quite the opposite, only the best clinicians can rise to challenge of making our offer current and accessible whilst remaining true to our professional discipline.

Many of my patients come into therapy confused about what ‘type’ of therapy is right for them and what the differences between psychotherapy, counselling, hypnotherapy and life-coaching may be. At the Possibility Project London we are geared towards meeting our patients needs by carrying out robust assessments and being able to guide them on the right route for reducing their psychological distress.

I am committed to The Possibility Project London making psychological therapies accessible for all at a challenging time for the delivery of mental health services and with savage cuts thrust upon providers. Projects like ours will need to walk the tightrope of renting expensive space in central London and delivering top quality services. My model works by taking account of the patients financial capacity in agreeing a fee and making a commitment to the work.

This is a very exciting time for the project with a number of therapists joining us and enabling us to offer a wide range of professional interventions. I will be introducing the new therapists over the next couple of weeks.
